Was isst du an einem normalen Tag?

Essen kunterbunt
More and more people do not always want to eat what is considered traditional Austrian or German dishes and enjoy a variety of different types of โethnicโ foods. Particularly popular are Italian and Turkish dishes.
While many enjoy a sit-down meal at a โPizzeria,โ it is also common to grab a Turkish โKebabโ from a Dรถner place, which can be found nearly on every street corner, or a โBosna,โ an Austrian speciality of sausage in a baguette, at a โWรผrstelstand.โ
In recent years, more and more people decide to eat vegetarian or vegan or have food allergies that require them to be mindful of what they eat. Additionally, the EU ratified a law in 2014 that extends the requirement to inform consumers about the most common 14 allergens (i.e. gluten, eggs, nuts, milk products, and sulfites) in foodsโโfrom packaged food to dishes in restaurant.
With these changes, products such as hummus and falafel are easy to find at food stands or grocery stores.
