Ich bekomme auch wenig Geld von meinem Arbeitgeber f\u00fcr die meisten Dienstreisen, das hei\u00dft, wenn ich auf eine freiwillige Konferenz gehen will, muss ich oft etliche Kosten selbst bezahlen. Es gibt oft interessante Fortbildungen, an denen ich teilnehmen will, und ich muss mich daf\u00fcr anmelden und eine lange Abrechnung f\u00fcr die vielen Reisekosten zusammenstellen. Ich k\u00f6nnte es mir nicht leisten, alles privat zu bezahlen und das Geld sp\u00e4ter erstattet zu bekommen. Wenn ich zu einer Tagung oder Konferenz reisen muss, dann fahre ich meistens mit dem Zug oder manchmal mit meinem Auto, immer was g\u00fcnstiger ist.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Haroon: Beruflich reise ich sehr oft. Ich bin Experte in meinem Bereich und werde oft von anderen Universit\u00e4ten oder Gruppen eingeladen. Ich bekomme oft ein kleines Honorar und die Reisekosten erstattet, aber ich muss alle Rechnungen, Quittungen, und Belege sammeln, damit ich beweisen kann, wof\u00fcr ich das ganze Geld ausgegeben habe. In the accusative, they are almost identical.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s back up just a little with a couple of reminders about noun class. The class (der, die, das, pl.) of a noun is very important in the German language. Because of this, the adjective endings are also tied to the <strong>class<\/strong> and the <strong>number<\/strong> of the nouns.<\/p>\n<p>Recap of nominative adjective endings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>for plural, it&#8217;s <strong>-en<\/strong> with an article and -e without.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a definite article <strong>(die \/ das \/ der)<\/strong>, you don&#8217;t need to do anything but add an <strong> -e<\/strong> to the end of the adjective, because you can tell the noun class from the article.<\/li>\n<li>for the indefinite articles, the only time you worry about the adjective ending is with &#8220;ein&#8221; because you don&#8217;t know if the word is a <em>das<\/em>-noun or a <em>der<\/em>-noun. \u00a0In these cases, the adjective ending shows you what the class of the noun is.\n<ul>\n<li>For <em>der<\/em>-nouns\u00a0you add <strong>-er<\/strong> (to match <strong>der<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>For <em>das<\/em>-nouns,\u00a0you add <strong>-es<\/strong> (to match <strong>das<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Basically, <strong>if you can&#8217;t figure out what the class is from the article<\/strong>, then the <strong>adjective ending needs to represent that.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In accusative:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the only adjective ending that changes is\u00a0<strong><em>der<\/em>-nouns<\/strong>. This makes sense, because it is the only article that changes in the accusative.<\/li>\n<li>the rest of the adjective endings are exactly the same as the nominative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Achtung: <\/strong>Once an article changes, the adjective ending after after it is always going to be <strong>-en<\/strong>.
