You&#8217;ll notice the address takes this form:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Eugenstra\u00dfe 18<\/em>. In other words, the house number follows the street name. Street names are typically, but not always, written as one word, with the word &#8220;Stra\u00dfe&#8221; or &#8220;Gasse&#8221; coming after the official name of the street. <em>Stra\u00dfe<\/em> is the word for street in Germany, while <em>Gasse<\/em> is much more common in Austria. Well, the <em>Postleitzahl<\/em>, or zip code, comes before the name of the city.
