Possessive Adjectives

my, your, his, her, their, our—these are all examples of possessive adjectives. They show possession (to whom does this belong?) and reflect the pronouns in question (I, you, he, she, they, we).  You’ll read and practice more about them in the Erweiterung for this lesson.

du >> dein (your—informal, singular)
Sie >> Ihr (your—formal, singular)

xier >> xies (their, non-gendered singular possessive)
